Recruiting International Students in India

This Good Practices Guidebook is part of the Association’s strategy to promote increased engagement with India and add value to members’ existing activities there. It is designed to provide the university community with a guide to effective international student recruitment in India, with a particular emphasis on acceptance and admissions methods, as well as advising and counseling students in the study permit application process.

The Association carried out this research in response to a recommendation by its Standing Advisory Committee on International Relations (now called International Committee) and as part of the ongoing collaboration between the Association and Citizenship and Immigration Canada.
